I’m a spiritual person and truly believe there’s a reason you’ve found your way to this page. These days, I feel incredibly healthy and blessed: physically, emotionally and spiritually. I still have my low moments, but on the whole, I feel strong, grounded and content , which is a big deal for someone like me.
Because for most of my life, that wasn’t the case. On the surface, I was your classic Type A , bubbly, always busy, always smiling, always friendly. But under the surface, I was anxious, depressed and disconnected. That inner chaos eventually showed up in my body , as obesity, prediabetes, PCOS, thyroid issues and a host of unexplained symptoms.
The shift only came when I started to heal deeply. I realised conventional medicine had never truly helped me or my patients. So I trained in functional, lifestyle and spiritual medicine, exploring holistic, non-pharma approaches to reversing disease. Layer by layer, I applied to my patients what I was doing for myself , and saw incredible changes in them as well as me.

For years I’d practised medicine without understanding root cause philosophy.. That left me miserable and dejected as a doctor. I nearly left medicine altogether, fully ready to pivot into my life long passion of food when I made it to the top 10 on MasterChef UK.
But during filming, I had a miscarriage. That loss stopped me in my tracks and pulled me back to my true path of healing and made me realise I didn't wanna stop being a doctor!
Now I practise root-cause, lifestyle-first medicine that treats the whole person. I work one-to-one with clients worldwide, helping them uncover what’s really going on beneath their symptoms.
I also organise retreats, workshops and wellness events , anything that brings together real food, connection and transformation.

Step 1
Cleaned up her diet to eat 2 meals + 1 snack only, added in fermented foods, more good fats and puddings on the weekend!
Step 2
Changed her exercise regime to 3 outdoors HIIT sessions per week rather than daily running on a treadmill
Step 3
Changed the lighting in her house, her make up and her cleaning products to fix the hidden causes of hormone issues

He stopped doom scrolling at night to get improved sleep. He also watched his overall screen time
Step 2
He swapped beer for gin and fries for mash potatoes (and small other swaps) and started cooking at home more

He started martial arts rather than running which gave him community as well as a varied workout and shock to the body

She went from 6 coffees per day to 2 and gave up bread and pasta-JUST for 3 months then restarted

She focused on getting at least 7 hrs of sleep and waking up the same time each day for 30 days

She found a way to make meditation more doable and less boring for her and committed to 5 mins/ day

Persuaded her to swap night shifts for evenings, so helping her ciradian rythm and internal inflammation

Changed her exercise regime from gruelling 45 min spin classes to yoga and meditation classes

As of August 2025, it will have been a whole 25 years!
I have a very strong link with my Indian heritage and wanted to live by the sea with a slower pace of life
